Community Involvement

  • Sherry volunteers at the Listening Ear.  She serves on a committee that helps organize recreational activities for the disabled and publishes a calendar of social events.

Personal

  • Sherry was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was 10 months old.  Her cerebral palsy prohibits her from being able to walk, so she uses wheelchairs for mobility.   She is very thankful for being adopted by wonderful and supportive parents who have helped her be successful.
  • Sherry enjoys a wide variety of activities in her spare time including listening to music, scrapbooking & crafting, doing word searches, collecting recipes, being with babies, and reading.
